Position: Front Of House Community Worker (Oasis Hub Waterloo)
Location: Greater London

  • To welcome and assist visitors to the Centre, directing them to appointments, workshops, or meetings in the Centre as appropriate
  • To ensure the smooth practical running of the community space
  • Facilitating group sessions and workshops
  • Represent Oasis at all times including sharing the ethos and values of Oasis
  • To be able to tell the story of Oasis, including ensuring up-to-date knowledge of all the projects and services currently provided within the Hub.,
  • Good standard of basic education, including English and Maths Level 2
  • Experience of working in a community or charity setting
  • Experience working in a front-of-house environment

You will be the first experience of Oasis for many people who walk into the door, providing a warm welcome, caring and effective support all whilst sharing the Oasis vision, mission, and ethos with those coming into the centre.

The role includes regular evening and some weekend work and is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
