We are on the hunt for an Opiate Recovery Worker to join a dynamic Substance Misuse Service based in Whitechapel, London. This exciting role offers £22 per hour (Umbrella) for a full-time position of 5 days a week, totalling 37.5 hours. The contract spans 3 months, with the potential for extension. What you will do
  • Provide comprehensive support to clients dealing with opioid and other substance misuse issues.
  • Engage with clients to develop personalised recovery plans, focusing on harm reduction and sustainable recovery.
  • Manage a varied caseload, maintaining accurate client records and delivering reports as required.
  • Deliver one-to-one key working sessions, offering advice and guidance to motivate clients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to provide a holistic approach to substance misuse support.
Requirements
  • A valid DBS on the update service.
  • Proven experience in substance misuse services, specialising in drug and alcohol support.
  • Strong skills in caseload management and key working, with a deep understanding of harm reduction and recovery models.
