Engineering Manager £90,000 to £120,000 Hybrid working /London based The Opportunity This is a senior engineering leadership role within a fast-growing, tech-led consumer platform in a regulated, mission-driven space. You will lead a high-performing engineering team building core web products used by a rapidly expanding customer base.

This is a hands-on role combining people leadership, technical decision-making, and close partnership with Product to deliver at pace while building for scale. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Start date is flexible. What Youll Be Doing Leading a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers Partnering closely with Product, Design, QA, Data, and business stakeholders Acting as the technical counterpart to Product, shaping feasibility and delivery plans Translating ideas into shipped, high-quality product features Remaining hands-on where it adds value across architecture, delivery, and operations Coaching and developing engineers through feedback, growth plans, and clear expectations Guiding technical decisions to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability Working with other engineering leaders to improve processes and ways of working What Youll Bring 7 years commercial experience as a software engineer or technical leader End-to-end product lifecycle experience in modern engineering environments Strong understanding of software architecture, patterns, and testing practices Experience working in cross-functional product teams Confidence using engineering and business metrics to measure impact Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, learning-focused mindset Nice to Have Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
