A leading IT consultancy is looking to hire an experienced Senior Front End Engineer to work on large-scale digital platforms and user-facing services. You’ll be joining collaborative, agile teams delivering accessible, secure and high-performing web applications.

This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful projects using modern front-end technologies while influencing UI standards and best practices.

• Locations:
  Manchester, Telford, Worthing, Leeds, Bristol & London
• Hybrid working – 2 days onsite per week
• Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance

As a Senior Front End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and building rich, user-focused web applications. You’ll work closely with back-end engineers, designers and product teams to deliver accessible, secure and scalable front-end solutions.

• Design and develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces
• Build rich web applications using React and/or Angular
• Collaborate with back-end teams to integrate with RESTful APIs
• Ensure applications meet accessibility and usability standards
• Apply best practices around performance, security and code quality
• Contribute to UI architecture, reusable components and design systems
• Work collaboratively using Git-based version control

• Strong experience building front-end applications with React and/or Angular
• Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs
• Good understanding of web security principles
  , including OAuth
  2.0 and JWT
• Proven experience designing accessible and user-friendly UIs
• Familiarity with Node.js
  , NPM and modern front-end tooling
• Comfortable working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications
• Mentoring junior developers or providing technical guidance
