Remote - Senior React Native Engineer - Up to £70k

We are a fast-growing UK-based financial wellbeing platform and now serving hundreds of thousands of users across the public and private sectors. Our mission is to become the category leader in helping employers improve the financial wellbeing of their people, through products spanning retirement, learning, coaching, webinars, will writing and more.

This is an exciting opportunity to join take ownership of native mobile development across the business. You’ll be the technical lead for mobile, setting direction and best practices while building our first mobile-first product ecosystem using React Native
.

You’ll work closely with product, design, data and engineering peers in a lean, high-impact team, helping take mobile apps from MVP through to scalable, production-quality products. Alongside mobile development, you’ll also contribute to our existing web platform and services.

• Own the end-to-end development of our React Native mobile apps for iOS and Android
• Define mobile architecture, standards, workflows and best practices
• Lead the build of a new mobile-first product ecosystem
• Collaborate with product and design to shape solutions to real user problems
• Maintain and enhance existing web services to ensure seamless mobile–web integration
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, performance optimisation and code quality
• Work in an AI-augmented development environment and help prototype AI-driven features
• Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions and agile ceremonies

• Strong experience as a senior or lead-level mobile engineer using React Native
• Proven track record of taking mobile apps from MVP to scaled, high-quality products
• Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, state management and app store deployment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and SQL/No
  
  SQL databases
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software architecture patterns
• Comfortable working in a remote, cross-functional team with strong communication skills
• Curious, self-driven and excited about using AI-assisted development tools
