This is a founding frontend role, with the opportunity to shape how users interact with a completely new class of AI system.

You will:

• Design and build core user interfaces for research tools, internal systems, and customer-facing products
• Turn complex AI and database concepts into clear, intuitive user experiences
• Work closely with research and backend teams to surface correctness, uncertainty, and system behaviour in the UI
• Build fast, reliable, and elegant frontend systems from first principles
• Own frontend architecture, performance, and developer experience
• Design for clarity, correctness, and usability in high-stakes workflows
• Help define the frontend foundations of the company from day one

• Strong experience building production frontend applications (React, Type Script, or equivalent)
• Experience designing complex interfaces for technical users
• Comfort working with APIs, data-heavy applications, and real-time systems
• Strong engineering taste: you care about clarity, correctness, and trade-offs
• Ability to work from ambiguous requirements and shape product direction
• High ownership mindset. You ship, you own, you improve
• Amazing at using AI coding tools
