Back End Developer

Remote with occasional visits to their London office

Contract Length: 3 months initially, with strong possibility of extension

Day Rate:
Up to £500 (Outside IR35)

We’re looking for experienced Backend Engineers to support the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance backend systems. You’ll work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to build and evolve APIs and services that underpin a modern, cloud-based platform.

This is a hands‑on contract role suited to someone who can hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment and contribute immediately to architecture, development, and problem‑solving.

• Build and scale high-performance backend services and APIs
• Design robust .NET architectures for a cloud-based platform
• Write clean, testable, production‑ready code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise backend systems
• Work closely with frontend engineers, product, and stakeholders
• Improve performance, reliability, and availability
• Create reusable components and libraries

• Strong experience with C# / .NET (6–10)
• Solid API and microservices experience (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Experience with SQL Server and Azure Cosmos DB
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environments
