Low Code Software Engineer - Python | n8n | AI

£65,000–75,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits

Central London, 2 days a week

I’m working with a leading European professional services firm that’s investing heavily in AI and automation, bringing more technical capability in-house and expanding their Technology & Innovation team in London.

As a Python Developer, you’ll be central to their automation journey, designing and delivering intelligent workflows that change how the business operates. You’ll work with Python and n8n (a flexible AI workflow automation platform) to integrate with core business systems, while embedding AI agents via Microsoft Azure AI services. This is about engineering automation at scale: building custom n8n nodes, developing robust API integrations, and optimising workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Design and deliver intelligent workflows using Python and n8n to integrate with core business systems.
• Build custom n8n nodes and robust API integrations.
• Embed AI agents via Microsoft Azure AI services.
• Engineered automation at scale with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

• 2–5 years’ backend engineering experience (ideally Python, but open to other languages).
• Experience with REST APIs or integration projects.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to take initiative.

• Experience using Microsoft Azure services.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, with experience in integrating AI models or agents into automated workflows.
