The role…

As an Engineering Team Lead (ETL) in the Customer Apps team, you’ll lead a cross‑functional squad within our Embedded Finance portfolio while remaining hands‑on in the code if support is needed. This is a high‑impact opportunity for an engineering leader who wants to stay technically sharp while continuing to demonstrate proven people leadership.

You’ll be responsible for delivering new value‑add propositions that sit close to our customers while leveraging Dojo’s industry‑leading payments, data, and platform capabilities. You’ll shape how ideas move from concept to production, ensuring technical excellence, delivery predictability, and strong team engagement.

This role exists to combine technical credibility with accountable delivery leadership, ensuring that our squads build fast, build right, and build what matters most for our customers.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and develop one cross‑functional squad, creating clarity of purpose, consistent execution rhythm, and a solid‑performance culture.
  • Coach and support engineers in their growth, performance, and career progression.
  • Able to contribute to the codebase when needed, maintaining technical credibility and help set engineering standards.
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of customer‑facing features, including supporting Product and Design in discovery, architecture decisions, and implementation and releasing to production.
  • Partner closely with Product and Design to balance speed, quality, and measurable customer impact.
  • Ensure high engineering standards across testing, observability, reliability, and security.
What You Will Bring
  • Strong hands‑on software engineering experience in modern backend and/or frontend stacks (e.g., React

    JS, recent .NET).
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers, with a desire to grow as a people manager.
  • A track record of shipping customer‑facing products in an agile, iterative environment.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, cloud‑native systems, and operational best practices.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with delivery accountability.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
