As a Software Engineer at Isembard, you will build Mason

OS, a software-first system turning machine shops into scalable, cloud-like operations. You ll architect systems for CNC orchestration and robotics while working directly on the factory floor. This role offers the unique challenge of merging AI and full-stack engineering with high-stakes physical production.

• Work at the intersection of bits and atoms, writing code that directly controls high-precision CNC machines and advanced robotics on the factory floor.
• Join an early-stage mission to rebuild the backbone of industrial manufacturing, moving beyond simple workflow automation to a complete full-stack system reinvention.
• Influence the entire product lifecycle in a flat hierarchy where every engineer is empowered to hold and execute a vision for the future of Mason

• Architect and scale backend services, infrastructure, and real-time monitoring systems to ensure fault-tolerant operation in demanding manufacturing environments.
• Deploy and iterate on software directly within the factory setting, bridging the gap between digital logic and physical production.
• Integrate machine learning and AI-driven automation into the core of the Mason
  
  OS ecosystem to optimize supply chains and quality standards.

• A versatile generalist with exceptional coding skills in Type Script and React, capable of moving seamlessly between infrastructure and frontend development.
• Experienced in Dev Ops and cloud infrastructure, with a proven track record of deploying and maintaining resilient software in production environments.
• A relentless problem-solver who has previously led technical projects and thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where software uptime is critical.
