C#.Net Developer

C# Developer - Global Investment Management FirmCentral London (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

I'm partnering with a leading multinational investment management firm seeking a strong C# Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering business-critical platforms.

This role requires someone confident with strong communication skills to engage directly with stakeholders, shaping requirements, and owning delivery end-to-end in a pragmatic, outcomes-focused environment.

What you'll be working on:

• Real-time asset tracking platforms integrating external data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Morningstar, market data feeds, pricing & risk engines)

• High-availability, high-quality distributed applications

• Enhancing systems that model financial positions, transactions and flows

• Driving projects from inception through design, build, testing and release

Core requirements:

• Strong C# / .NET development experience

• Advanced SQL skills (performance tuning, complex queries, data modelling)

• Azure cloud experience (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Dev Ops etc.)

• Experience building highly available, resilient systems

• Excellent communication skills - able to engage directly with business users

• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership & initiative

Desirable:

• Angular or another modern JavaScript framework

• Financial services exposure (though strong engineers from other sectors are welcomed)

• Experience with in Agile/Jira environments (pragmatic delivery mindset essential)
