Hawksworth UK are hiring X2 Ruby on Rails Engineers to join a forward-thinking, engineering-led financial services organisation transforming its core platforms.
The Role- Engineers (x2) – £80k + 10–15% bonus + excellent package
Location
:
Hybrid, 1 day week on site per week, London
- Building and evolving a modern Ruby on Rails mortgage platform
- Designing scalable, secure, and resilient systems used at real‑world scale
- Working in product-aligned, empowered teams with true ownership
- Driving CI/CD, Dev Ops practices, and automation across the stack
- (Lead) Setting technical direction and mentoring engineers
- Strong Ruby on Rails experience (MVC, APIs)
- Experience with agile, Dev Ops, and modern delivery models
- Passion for building high‑quality, secure, production‑ready systems
- Play a key role in transforming a business‑critical platform
- Work in an engineering‑first, cloud‑focused environment
