Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Remote (occasional ad hoc travel required)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high‑quality digital services on major Central Government programmes.

This role requires a strong full‑stack background, a passion for modern engineering practices, and experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications
• Contribute to microservices and event‑driven architectures
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product, QA, and Dev Ops
• Build secure, resilient, and high‑performing systems in AWS environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement practices
• Engage with stakeholders and contribute to technical decision‑making
• Proven experience working on Central Government projects
• Strong expertise in:
• Node.js
• React
• Angular
• AWS
• Terraform
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Eligible for BPSS clearance

• Microservices and event‑driven architecture
• Messaging tools such as Active
  
  MQ/Rabbit
  
  MQ, Apache Kafka
• API Gateways (e.g. Kong or equivalent)

• Sonar Qube, Nexus, Artifactory

• Strong AWS experience (designing, deploying, and maintaining services)

• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lead and mentor within engineering teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive and collaborative mindset
