Salesforce Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with expertise in Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) and Salesforce Core to design, develop, and optimize scalable solutions tailored to business needs.

• Design and implement both Salesforce Core and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) solutions, including custom applications, OmniScripts, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, and Flex Cards.
• Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce declarative tools.
• Configure and optimize Vlocity CPQ, product catalog, and order management for industry‑specific solutions.

• Configure Salesforce Core functionalities, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, and process automation.
• Leverage Salesforce declarative tools to create efficient, scalable solutions that align with business needs.
• Customize and integrate Vlocity features to support industry‑specific workflows, including quoting, pricing, and order orchestration.

• Design and develop integrations between Salesforce Core, Vlocity, and external systems using APIs, middleware, and Vlocity Data Raptors.
• Ensure seamless data flow across integrated systems, maintaining data accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges.

• Optimize Salesforce Core and Vlocity solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, performance testing, and debugging to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Implement best practices for both Vlocity and Salesforce Core development.

• Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Document technical designs, workflows, and solution architectures for both Vlocity and Salesforce Core implementations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peer developers as needed.

• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing for all developed solutions.
• Support deployments across multiple environments using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve post‑deployment issues, ensuring seamless user experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong knowledge of Salesforce Core.
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience with Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) tools and features.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex Salesforce Core and Vlocity solutions.

• Proficiency in Salesforce Core development, including Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Expertise in Vlocity Omni Studio tools (OmniScripts, Data Raptors, Flex Cards, Integration Procedures) and configuration of industry‑specific solutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security.
• Experience with system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (e.g., Mule Soft, Boomi), and Salesforce Connect.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

• Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I/II, Omni Studio Developer, Salesforce Industries Consultant, or Application Architect.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git, Copado).
• Familiarity with industry‑specific workflows in telecommunications, energy, or insurance sectors.
