Senior Java/Kotlin Engineers — Fin Tech | London Hybrid
A growing fintech company is hiring experienced Java/Kotlin engineers to help build scalable, high-performance financial platforms.
Role- Design and build backend services in Java and Kotlin
- Work on distributed systems, APIs, and event‑driven architectures
- Collaborate closely with product, platform, and engineering teams
- Contribute to technical direction and engineering best practices
- Spring Boot
- Microservices
- Kafka
- AWS / Cloud infrastructure
- SQL & No
SQL databases - CI/CD and modern Dev Ops tooling
- Strong commercial experience with Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience building scalable backend systems
- Fin Tech, payments, trading, or regulated environment experience is a plus
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative agile environment
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week in London office, 2 days WFH
