You will also contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of core UK systems that underpin our operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain features across full‑stack web applications using modern frameworks
  • Produce clean, well‑tested, and well‑documented code aligned with team standards
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Test Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Investigate and resolve bugs across development, staging, and production environments
  • Support integrations with third‑party logistics APIs, carrier systems, and warehouse management tools
  • Adopt new technologies and frameworks as the platform evolves
Technical Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language and associated frameworks (e.g., C#, PHP)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., TSQL) and intermediate SQL
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles
  • Experience with automated testing and unit testing
  • Exposure to Dev Ops tools (e.g., Jenkins) and source control (Git/Bit Bucket)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Exposure to Windows Server, IIS, and related services
  • Understanding of logistics, warehousing, or supply chain concepts
Fixed Deliverables During the Contract
  • Enhancement of ASUK back‑office software, including delivery of new UIs and functionality to streamline common tasks
  • Simplification of customer onboarding processes
  • Expansion and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Reduction of technical debt through migration of legacy platforms and applications
  • Enhancement of automated testing coverage to improve software quality, reliability, and deployment confidence.
