Every day, thousands of patients already interact with Limbic, making therapy more accessible. Limbic goes beyond replacing existing processes with AI and helps people recover from their mental health challenges who otherwise would not have.

We're seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to help build the product surfaces that bring our AI for mental health care to patients and clinicians in the emerging US market. You will work end-to-end across our systems, shipping features that combine clinical-grade reliability with a strong user experience. You will play a critical role in translating our platform capabilities into products that real users — patients and care providers — depend on every day.

What

you'll do
  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end, including:

    • Implementing Type Script/Node.js backend services compliant with data residency and regulatory standards

    • Building React user interfaces for both patient-facing and clinician-facing products

    • Modeling and handling application data (Postgre

      SQL, Mongo

      DB) using regulatory compliance best practices

    • Integrating features with ML/AI services and safety guardrails

  • Treat security, data residency, and compliance as first-class concerns given our patient/clinical data context

  • Collaborate and demonstrate ownership in a cross-functional team to integrate features smoothly and swiftly into a product

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards

  • Triage incoming alerts for collaborative error monitoring

  • Participate in periodic "Side Quest" hackathon days

Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience

  • This position requires availability during standard business hours for our teams across Europe (UTC to UTC+3)

  • Ability to work from London (Spitalfields) office 1-day per week is preferred

  • Limbic cannot provide visa sponsorship

  • Strong Type Script and Node.js ability (Graph

    QL and tRPC familiarity preferred)

  • Solid React experience building production web applications

  • Experience with databases — should be comfortable with Postgre

    SQL as well as document databases and KV stores

  • Experience using AWS services in production and CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions)

  • Proficiency with Git

  • Interest in the mental healthcare space

  • Experience with queue-based systems (BullMQ + Redis) is a bonus

  • Experience working in a regulated or security-sensitive environment (healthcare, fintech, etc.) is a bonus

  • Experience with React Native is a bonus
