. This role is part of BNY’s centralized AI Transformation Office, focusing on building and shipping production-grade GenAI and agentic automation solutions that transform how work is done.

• Use analytical skills to understand business problems first and leverage AI tools to accelerate solution design without replacing critical thinking.
• Take initiative and ownership of tasks end‑to‑end, from scoping and prototyping to deployment, using AI‑native tooling throughout the workflow.
• Build and contribute to AI‑forward architecture standards, including prompt engineering patterns, agentic workflow design, and LLM integration guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, LOB stakeholders, and architects to design, prototype, and deliver AI‑powered solutions across automation, workflow orchestration, and client‑facing tooling.
• Participate in code reviews with an AI‑first lens, evaluating not only the code but also the effectiveness of AI tooling in the build.
• Demonstrate software engineering experience with daily use of AI‑native development tools as a core part of your workflow.

• Daily proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Windsurf, Cursor, or Git Hub Copilot.
• Experience in Python and/or Java for backend service development.
• LLM integration experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent APIs.
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and MCP.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience with agentic frameworks (Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Auto Gen, or similar).
• Experience designing RAG pipelines and working with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
• Familiarity with Agile/SDLC tooling, including Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
