Sitting within the Basecamp Technology group and providing specialised engineering capabilities and scalable components to our Research and Trade Technology groups, this is an impactful role that will require you to design, build and operate scalable solutions that enhance the developer and research experience across the entire organisation.

You will lead the strategy, design, delivery and operation of critical engineering and research‑facing systems, guiding and growing a team of talented engineers working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, building out our best‑in‑class tooling.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Leading strategy, design, delivery and operations
• Managing a team of high performing engineers
• Driving continuous optimisation, reliability and performance improvements across distributed systems
• Collaborating with stakeholders across Research and Engineering
• Directly engaging with engineers and researchers across the organisation
• Influencing long‑term vision in partnership with Architecture
