(Junior) Software Engineer – London (Hybrid)

• Develop & Maintain:
  Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud‑based data distribution systems.
• Scale Systems:
  Help build scalable solutions designed to process and deliver terabytes of data daily.
• Automation:
  Assist in developing and improving CI/CD pipelines and workflow automation.
• Optimization:
  Support system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency alongside senior team members.
• Collaborate:
  Work closely with product, operations, and engineering teams on platform improvements.
• Team Contribution:
  Learn from senior engineers and actively contribute to architecture discussions, testing, and deployment activities.

• 2+ years’ experience in Software Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Strong foundational Python and SQL development skills.
• Hands‑on experience building or supporting applications on AWS.
• A solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud‑based architectures.
• Familiarity or exposure to Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Linux, Docker, Airflow, and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and a desire to learn.

• Exposure to or experience with C++, C, or Java.
