Frontend Developer

Contract: Initial 6 Months (Highly Likely Extension)

We're partnering with a globally recognised technology and streaming organisation seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension based on project demand and performance.

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale consumer platforms serving millions of users across international markets, helping to deliver seamless customer journeys across subscription, commerce and account management products.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building and optimising modern web applications within a fast-paced Agile environment. You'll work closely with product, design and engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient and high-performing customer-facing solutions.

• Develop modern web applications using React, Type Script and Next.js
• Build scalable, resilient and maintainable frontend solutions
• Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
• Deliver high-quality code through automated testing and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate within a cross-functional Agile team
• Drive improvements in performance, accessibility, security and user experience
• Champion engineering best practices and continuous improvement

• Strong commercial experience with React, Type Script and Next.js
• Proven experience developing production-scale frontend applications
• Strong Node.js and Graph
  
  QL experience
• Experience with Playwright and automated testing strategies
• Solid understanding of TDD, CI/CD and modern software engineering practices
• Experience optimising web applications for performance, accessibility and resilience
• Ability to work effectively within collaborative Agile teams
• Experience with in high-traffic digital, streaming, subscription or eCommerce environments
• Experience contributing to technical direction and mentoring other engineers
