AI Engineering Consultant

AI Engineer | Generative & Agentic AI | UK Consulting (London / Manchester / Glasgow)

We’re partnering with a global technology and transformation consultancy — consistently ranked among the best places to work in the UK — to find an AI Engineer for their expanding Data & AI practice.

They are looking for someone who can take AI from prototype to production, building and ope rationalising ML and GenAI systems that land real business impact for enterprise clients across the public and private sectors.

• Designing and delivering full AI/ML pipelines — from data prep and model development through to deployment, monitoring, and feature stores
• Architecting GenAI solutions: RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM orchestration across Azure, GCP, or AWS
• Building with the latest agentic frameworks (Lang Chain, Llama Index, CrewAI, Auto Gen, Google ADK and more)
• Embedding MLOps best practices, governance, and responsible AI guardrails into client engagements
• Translating business requirements into technical blueprints alongside data scientists, product managers, and client stakeholders
• Contributing to demos, proposals, thought leadership, and reusable delivery accelerators

• Hands‑on experience designing and delivering AI/ML solutions at scale, from concept to production
• Strong grounding in GenAI and Agentic AI — RAG, embeddings, evaluation, orchestration
• Cloud‑native architecture experience across Azure, GCP, and/or AWS
• Proficiency in CI/CD and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, Git Hub Actions or similar)
• A consulting mindset — comfortable with clients, comfortable with ambiguity

You won't need to tick every technology on the list. They value a strong foundation, genuine curiosity, and the ability to learn fast.

Eligibility: Candidates must hold SC clearance or have resided in the UK for the last 5 years.
