About The Role
We are currently seeking multiple Senior .Net Developers to join a prestigious London-based financial services client. This role involves working on a long-term, business-critical data-oriented project that requires advanced technical skills and a strategic mindset. The successful candidates will be instrumental in developing and optimizing complex data-heavy applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. The role is hybrid, based in London, with flexible working arrangements to support work‑life balance and productivity.
- Extensive experience in C# .Net development, particularly on data‑intensive projects.
- Proven expertise in SQL development, including database modelling, performance tuning, and optimisation.
- Solid understanding of application programming for data-heavy applications on SQL Server, utilising stored procedures and tSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, to support scalable and resilient applications.
- Good knowledge of AI concepts and technologies is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance data-heavy applications using C# and .Net frameworks.
- Building and optimisation of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas to enhance application performance.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implementing best practices for application security, data integrity, and compliance standards.
- Performing performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve issues and improve system efficiency.
- Participating in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working with cloud services, particularly AWS, to deploy, manage, and monitor applications in a cloud environment.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the team remains innovative and competitive.
- Initial contract duration until the end of the year with potential extensions based on project needs and performance.
- Competitive daily rate of up to 850 GBP via umbrella company arrangements.
