Software Engineer - Nursling

Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year

• BEng/BSc and/or masters degree in an appropriate engineering, computer science, information systems or related subject.
• Knowledge of Sensor and Communication systems.
• Software engineering experience from R&D concept through to the full product development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with modern software architecture practices.
• Experience with scientific applications/DSP, including algorithm implementation.
• Capability in multiple programming languages and ability to switch between them rapidly, e.g. C++/C#/Python.
• Comfortable with modern agile development practices such as Scrum/Kanban.
• Proficient with modern software tooling, e.g. Gitlab, Git, VS Code.

• Detailed design of components of the product software.
• Implementation and testing of software as part of an agile software team.
• Gaining understanding of existing system products and future development agendas.
