Lead Data Architect

Salary: £85,000 - 95,000 per year

• Strong background in Data Architecture or Data Platform Engineering
• Experience owning architecture across complex enterprise programmes
• Knowledge of cloud, on-prem and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage and lifecycle management
• Understanding of scalable integration patterns, APIs and event‑driven architectures
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills
• Experience working within secure, regulated or mission‑critical environments is highly desirable

• Own and evolve our end‑to‑end Data Fabric architecture
• Define our architecture roadmaps, standards, governance and best practices
• Lead data integration and interoperability strategies across multiple environments
• Design scalable data processing, storage, metadata and governance solutions
• Establish architecture patterns and technical guardrails for engineering teams
• Lead architectural assurance and governance activities
• Support secure deployments across cloud, hybrid and on‑prem environments
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across projects
