Senior Software Engineer

A well‑funded, fast‑growing AI startup is hiring a Full‑Stack Product Engineer to help build the next generation of operational software in a large, legacy industry being transformed by automation.

You’ll join a lean, high‑performing engineering team building internal and customer‑facing products powered by AI.

They’re particularly keen to hire someone with strong front‑end capability who can complement an existing backend‑heavy team, while still being comfortable shipping across the stack.

You’ll own features end‑to‑end — from understanding user problems, defining solutions, building the product, and iterating quickly based on feedback.

• Owning product features from idea to production launch
• Building polished front‑end experiences using Type Script / Next.js
• Developing backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Building AI‑adjacent features such as:
• document processing workflows
• internal operations tooling
• Working closely with operations and commercial teams to solve real user pain points
• Shipping quickly in a highly iterative product environment
• Helping shape engineering culture and standards

• 2–7 years experience in full‑stack engineering
• Strong front‑end skills with Type Script / Next.js
• Commercial backend experience with Node.js
• Product‑minded engineer who cares about users and speed
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and startup pace
• Strong work ethic and desire to build

• Experience in startups or top‑tier tech businesses
• Exposure to AI products or automation systems
• Familiarity with GCP, Postgres, Terraform
• Experience in fintech / insurtech / workflow‑heavy products
