We are actively looking to secure an Early Professional Application Developer to join Experis.

Job Purpose /The Role
This role will support development activities within a major transformation programme for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), focusing on the refactoring and migration of applications as part of the LTD Programme.
You will work closely with IBM teams, client stakeholders, and a wider programme delivery team to support the successful migration of Java-based applications to AWS. The role will involve contributing to the design, development, and assurance of key application components within a collaborative, multi-team environment.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and enhancement of Java applications
- Support the migration of applications to AWS cloud environments
- Work collaboratively with IBM delivery teams and client stakeholders
- Contribute to technical implementation and quality assurance of solutions
Engage in a large-scale programme environment, working across multiple teams - Participate in agile delivery activities and support application refactoring efforts
- UK Citizen with minimum 5 years UK residency (essential)
- Must be currently based in the UK
- Experience developing Java applications
- Exposure to or experience with AWS or cloud-based environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within a large-scale delivery programme
