Backend Engineer; Data & API Systems | Hybrid

Location: London (hybrid, 2–3 days per week in office)

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to take ownership of our API and data infrastructure, building the core systems that power a large-scale, data-driven platform. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on designing robust data foundations, scalable pipelines, and high-performance APIs.

You will sit at the intersection of backend engineering and data architecture, shaping how data is ingested, structured, transformed, and served across the organisation. Your work will directly influence platform reliability, data consistency, and system performance.
