AWTG is looking for a very talented and experienced Backend Developer who specialises in both web and mobile software engineering.
Responsibilities:– Creating and maintaining Word Press plugins to extend site functionality.– Customizing and building Word Press themes to match design and functionality specifications.– Developing custom Word Press post types, taxonomies, and fields to enhance site functionality.– Managing the migration of Word Press sites between servers, environments, or domain changes.– Ensuring compatibility and managing updates to the Word Press core and plugins.–
Defining the tasks and main goals of new projects.– Developing architectural solutions for the project and write efficient, scalable code.– Managing the development team and ensure project milestones are met.– Contributing to the achievement of overall team goals.
Requirements:– Strong knowledge of Word Press back-end and front-end architecture and their interaction.– In-depth experience with Laravel and Symphony framework for robust web application development.– Solid understanding and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and deployment.– Confident knowledge of Word Press and PHP development– Strong knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
– Experience with PHPUnit / Codeception.– Proficiency in debugging tools– Good knowledge of Git– Understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodology.
Preferred
Skills:
– Familiarity with GCP tools and services such as Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Cloud Storage.
– Experience with RESTful API development and integration.– Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools.– Ability to optimize application performance and scalability on cloud platforms.– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary: 35,000 – 37,000, per year, depending on your skillsets
