What You'll Be Doing- This role is ideal for a developer with solid Service Now platform experience who enjoys building high‑quality solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously developing their technical skills.
- You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to deliver new capabilities and enhancements across our Service Now platform.
- Develop, configure and maintain solutions on the Service Now platform.
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions with support from senior engineers where required.
- Build, test and deploy platform enhancements following established engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts and fellow engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, refinement and retrospectives.
- Support integration development using REST/SOAP APIs where required.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis and resolve production defects.
- Contribute to code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Produce clear technical documentation for delivered solutions.
- Previous experience developing on the Service Now platform.
- Hands‑on experience developing Service Portal solutions.
- Strong Service Now platform development experience.
- Strong JavaScript development skills.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and UI Policies.
- Experienced developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Experience working with an Agile delivery environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to the Service Now Customer Service Management (CSM) module.
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).
