Responsibilities- Responsible for the full integration development life cycle that includes requirements gathering, design, build, test, deploy and maintenance of scalable integration solutions.
- Gather requirements for new integrations through collaboration with cross‑functional business teams and develop the solution to meet the business needs.
- Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of existing integrations and ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business.
- Monitor existing integrations and troubleshoot and correct any errors or failures on a timely basis to confirm minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with third‑party vendors to develop and test external Workday integrations.
- Create and maintain design documents and technical support documents for all Workday integrations.
- Act as the subject matter expert on the technical procedures and processes to perform mass data loads and assist other users with data load tools (e.g., EIBs).
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions within Workday, using Workday Extend.
- Support testing for semi‑annual Workday releases.
- Participate in the Workday Community and other resources, including training and user groups, to establish awareness of current trends, enhancements, and system bugs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Extensive experience with the Workday platform, including application configuration, implementations, and interrelationships with other systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, Connectors, Web Services, Document Transformation) as well as custom reports, calculated fields and BIRT layouts.
- Understanding of Workday Extend and ability to help design, build and create Extend applications.
- Outstanding organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work with cross‑functional teams to drive projects, gather requirements, provide development estimates, and meet expected delivery timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills needed to work effectively with non‑technical functional team members and business owners.
- Ability to adapt to multiple changing business priorities with calm and ease.
- Motivated and have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with other high‑performing team members.
