Dynamics 365 Lead Developer

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

• We need substantial hands‑on experience building, extending, and supporting Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions in a production environment, including Field Service Mobile and Resource Scheduling Optimisation.
• We need a strong working knowledge of the wider Power Platform and Dataverse to make sound design and build choices in a Field Service context.
• We need strong development skills across C#, JavaScript or Type Script, plugins, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and integration with RESTful Web APIs.
• We need practical experience with Dynamics ALM, environment strategy, source control, and release pipelines.
• We need a working understanding of good engineering practice on the Dynamics 365 Field Service platform.
• We need experience leading or mentoring more junior technical staff.
• We need strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• You must be eligible to work in the UK.
• You must reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.

• We will expect you to lead complex builds on our Dynamics 365 Field Service platform.
• We will expect you to support the resolution of difficult production issues.
• We will expect you to set the standard for how technical work is done in the team.
• We will expect you to work closely with the Dynamics Field Service Architect to turn designs into resilient, well‑engineered solutions.
• We will expect you to lift the technical practice of the Technical Consultants around you.
• We will expect you to provide strong hands‑on delivery and build solutions to a high standard.
• We will expect you to manage two Technical Consultants.
• We will expect you to help your team members grow as engineers.
• We will expect you to ensure their work meets the standard our platform needs.
• We will expect you to judge when to step in and when to coach others through the work.

The role is 36 hours per week, with salary starting at £70,398 to £87,998 per annum for London or £64,043 to £80,054 per annum nationally.
