ADS Data Solution Architect, Vice President

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and input into designs of Alpha Data Services platform to support a rapidly growing business on a massive scale.
• Provide data solutions to ADS clients and support client implementation and onboarding teams.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting.
• 10‑15 years of experience in data integration/orchestration services, data governance, service architecture and data modelling.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines and data‑readiness design, development and implementation.
• Experience designing and implementing relational data models for audit, time‑series, complex relationships and high‑volume data sets.
• Understanding of system performance and profiling techniques for complex data models.
• Exposure to business data domains such as holdings, transactions, security reference data, performance and attribution, ESG, etc.
• Strong collaborative experience and effective communication skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC practices.
• Experience with Azure and Snowflake architecture/design/development (plus).
• Experience with Qlik Replicate and Compose (CDC) tools (plus).
• Strong data warehousing concepts; ETL tools such as Pentaho/Kettle, Talend Cloud Data Integration, Kafka (plus).
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Exposure to financial domain (plus).
• Cloud Managed Services experience such as MS Azure/Dev Ops (plus).
• Prior experience with State Street, Charles River Development (CRD) (plus).
• Experience with external systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, rating agencies, benchmark data providers.
