The OpportunityWe're partnering with a leading global hedge fund seeking a Python Engineer to join its front-office technology team.
You'll build the tools, platforms, and infrastructure supporting investment research, trading decisions, and portfolio management, working closely with Portfolio Managers, Quantitative Researchers, and Analysts.
What You'll Do- Develop Python applications for trading, research, and analytics.
- Build data pipelines, automation tools, and visualisation solutions.
- Improve research workflows and trading efficiency.
- Deliver scalable technology solutions alongside investment teams.
Work directly with investment professionals and live trading workflows.
Build technology with real impact on investment decisions.
Collaborate with exceptional engineers, quants, and analysts.
Own high-impact projects using modern technologies and large-scale data.
What We're Looking For- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline.
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and investment teams.
Experience with financial markets, trading systems, or large-scale data platforms is a plus.
