Senior Front End React Engineer : Quant Fund Hybrid

We're partnering with one of the world's most successful quantitative investment firms to hire an exceptional Senior Front End React Engineer
. This is an opportunity to build sophisticated trading and analytics platforms that are used by some of the brightest minds in quantitative finance.

This isn't a role where you'll be building marketing websites or standard business applications. You'll work directly alongside quantitative researchers, traders, and engineering teams to create ultra-high-performance, data-rich applications that enable real-time decision making in global financial markets.

• Designing and building modern React applications used by traders and quantitative researchers.
• Creating intuitive visualisations for complex financial and market data.
• Developing high-performance front-end architectures capable of handling large volumes of real-time streaming data.
• Collaborating closely with backend engineers, platform teams, quants and portfolio managers.
• Driving best practices across architecture, testing, performance optimisation and code quality.
• Influencing product direction by working directly with end users in a highly collaborative environment.
• Helping shape the future of next-generation trading and research platforms.

• React and Type Script .
• Experience with complex state management and scalable front-end architecture.
• Strong appreciation for performance optimisation and responsive user interfaces.
• Experience consuming real-time APIs (Web Sockets, GraphQL and/or REST).
• Excellent problem-solving ability with a genuine passion for software engineering.
• Comfortable working within highly collaborative engineering teams.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or STEM subject

• Experience with financial markets, trading systems or market data.
• Knowledge of data visualisation libraries such as D3, Highcharts or AG Grid.
• Experience working with cloud technologies or containerised environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing and Dev Ops practices.
• Exposure to Python or other backend technologies.
