Following significant growth, they're looking for experienced Backend Engineers who enjoy solving complex engineering problems, building scalable systems, and working alongside a world-class product and engineering team.

You’ll be joining a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing and building the core platform that powers a fast-growing global business.

Your work will involve:

• Building scalable backend services
• Designing distributed systems that operate at scale
• Developing APIs supporting high volumes of traffic
• Building reliable transaction and workflow services
• Improving platform performance, resilience and scalability
• Taking products from concept through to production

You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver features that have measurable customer and business impact.

• Building backend services using Node.js and Type Script
• Solving complex performance and scalability challenges
• Contributing to technical architecture and engineering best practices
• Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams in a highly collaborative, office-first engineering culture
• Mentoring engineers and promoting high technical standards
• Shipping high-quality software in a fast-moving environment

You’ll likely have:

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and Type Script
• Experience building scalable backend platforms
• A product mindset and customer-first approach
• Experience working within high-growth technology businesses
• Startup or scale-up experience with a high level of ownership
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• An interest in AI and modern software engineering
• Ability to work from the London office 4 days per week, collaborating closely with an exceptional engineering team
