About the Role

We are seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to turn ambitious customer opportunities into production AI solutions that create measurable business value. In this role, you will lead complex AI engagements from problem discovery and POC through production launch and scale, bringing together engineers, designers, product partners, and customer stakeholders.

Your day-to-day will include shaping the product and delivery strategy, defining success metrics, prioritising use cases, aligning teams around POC scope, unblocking engineering decisions, managing product and technical tradeoffs, communicating risks, and driving readiness so deployed systems land in real workflows.

Success in this role will look like AI products and solutions that solve meaningful business problems, reach production reliably, earn customer trust, and create reusable product, delivery, and implementation patterns for future engagements.

This role is based in the UK, with hybrid work and customer travel shaped by deployment needs.

In this role, you will:
  • Own the product and delivery plan for customer work streams, translating business objectives into problem statements, product hypotheses, POC scope, success metrics, milestones, and routes to production.

  • Drive execution across Deploy Co, OpenAI, and customer teams, keeping product priorities clear, risks visible, blockers resolved, and critical decisions moving.

  • Embed with customers to map workflows, shape requirements, align technical plans to product success criteria, and ensure solutions are adopted in production.

  • Partner with engineers, designers, product, research, customer technical teams, and business sponsors to move concepts and prototypes through POC, production readiness, launch, and scale.

  • Make pragmatic product and technical tradeoffs across scope, sequencing, resourcing, quality, adoption, and time-to-value while maintaining trust with technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Own value cases and impact measurement, including hypotheses, baselines, KPIs, adoption signals, customer readouts, and recommendations for what to build or scale next.

  • Codify reusable product, delivery, implementation, evaluation, and field insight patterns that improve future deployments.

You may thrive in this role if you:
  • Have experience in customer-facing product delivery, product management, technical delivery, consulting, solutions engineering, or implementation leadership.

  • Have led cross-functional teams to design, build, and ship production-grade AI and software products in enterprise environments.

  • Are technically fluent enough to pressure-test architectures, integration plans, data constraints, and production readiness, especially across Python applications, microservices, data technologies, and large language models.

  • Move fluidly between product strategy and execution-level detail, from executive outcomes and product bets to engineering dependencies and launch readiness.

  • Communicate clearly with business leaders, product teams, engineers, and customer stakeholders, especially when tradeoffs involve value, risk, scope, speed, or adoption.

  • Are product-minded and engineering-literate: you can connect customer needs, workflow realities, technical constraints, and business value into a practical route to production.

  • Operate well in high-ambiguity environments and bring enough structure to make complex product and engineering work simple, visible, and shippable.
