Tab is a YC-backed London startup building a high-scale payments and discovery platform for independent tourism businesses worldwide.

Join a profitable, lean team of nine as one of Tab's first developers. You will build and scale a payments platform processing 100 currencies and a discovery engine listing 100,000+ businesses. Working across Svelte and Python (FastAPI/Django), you'll tackle challenges like 10x scaling, real-time transaction processing, and autonomous product development.

• Develop and scale backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Django to handle a 10x increase in payment volume and transaction complexity.
• Build and iterate on modern, responsive user interfaces using Svelte and Type Script for a discovery platform serving millions of global travellers.
• Architect and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for critical payments systems.

• Has at least 4 years of full-stack experience building web applications with an object-oriented language and modern frontend frameworks like Svelte or React.
• Demonstrates proficiency across the entire stack, including Python backend services, PostgreSQL databases, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment where they can move quickly, design with intent, mentor junior members, and apply the right tool to every job.
