Full Stack Developer Contract role (Back-end leaning)

Remote: UK-based contractors only

Potential requirement to be onsite in London when needed

This is a hands on role with a strong backend focus, working across a modern Type Script stack. Financial services or experience working with Private Equity firms highly desirable.

I am looking for UK based contractors that can be on site when needs be(very rare) and have a limited company set up or can do this without sponsorship.

What I’m looking for:

5+ years’ software engineering experience
Strong backend experience with NestJS and building production APIs
Solid React experience, ideally with Next.js
Experience taking features from design through to production
Comfortable making technical decisions and working independently
Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The brief is clear that this isn't a pure backend or frontend role. I need someone genuinely comfortable across the full stack, but with a backend bias.
