Lead Fullstack Camunda Developer

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31 2026
Work Set Up: Hybrid (23 days per week in office)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Lead Fullstack Camunda Developer with extensive experience designing and implementing Camunda solutions alongside strong full-stack development expertise across Java Spring Boot React SQL Open Shift and modern Dev Ops technologies. The successful candidate will provide architectural guidance lead cross-functional delivery and develop scalable secure and highly testable workflow solutions within a banking and financial services environment.

What you will do:

• Provide expert architectural guidance on Camunda 8 process orchestration patterns including service tasks user tasks and job workers to meet business requirements.
• Deliver Camunda Java and React-based Lending Origination workflow solutions.
• Oversee technical design and architecture ensuring alignment with Wholesale Lending design standards.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including developers and testers to deliver sprint objectives.
• Track and report delivery metrics including velocity and throughput through governance forums.
• Lead the adoption of relevant technologies and development practices including AI tooling.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and maintain timely updates in JIRA.
• Translate business requirements into clean scalable and testable code.
• Deliver features and user stories with requirements for 100% automated test coverage.
• Provide third-line support for the production environment and support first-line UAT activities.
• Meet CIB metric standards including TADS and maintain required standards.
• Apply Test Driven Development CI/CD and microservices development practices.

Qualifications :

• Bring extensive experience designing and implementing Camunda solutions with strong expertise in Camunda 8 process orchestration.
• Demonstrate strong back-end development experience with Java Spring Boot JPA Hibernate JUnit Rest Assured and Mockito.
• Demonstrate front-end development experience with Redux Axios CSS JavaScript and HTML.
• Bring strong SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
• Demonstrate experience with aPaaS Open Shift V4 and cloud-based application platforms.
• Bring experience with Dev Ops and development tools including Git Lab Stash Jenkins Nexus JIRA Confluence Sonar Qube and Veracode.
• Demonstrate experience with build tools including Maven Gradle and NPM.
• Demonstrate strong skills in Test Driven Development CI/CD and microservices.
• Bring experience working within an Agile project environment.
• Demonstrate experience working in IT projects preferably within banking or financial services.
• Bring experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ as an advantage.
• Hold a Computer Science degree or demonstrate equivalent understanding of Computer Science Object-Oriented Design and Data Structures as an advantage.
• Demonstrate eligibility for BPSS clearance.
