Senior Engineer (AI Governance)

£130k + Equity

Stack One is a $24M VC-backed London tech company, supported by GV and Workday Ventures, building the AI Integration Gateway for SaaS products.

You will lead the development of Stack One's governance layer, creating the essential security infrastructure for AI agents accessing enterprise systems. By building tools for enrollment, provisioning, and policy enforcement, you'll ensure agentic integrations are secure, compliant, and identity-bound, effectively defining the standards for how enterprises safely deploy AI at scale.

• Work in a high-ownership senior IC role reporting directly to technical leadership on a strategic pillar of the roadmap.

• Design and implement a robust provisioning lifecycle for tool access, covering enrollment, rotation, and revocation across managed auth layers.
• Build high-performance policy and rules engines to enforce runtime access controls for AI agents based on identity and context.
• Develop continuous posture monitoring and telemetry systems to detect anomalies and surface risky scopes within connected SaaS ecosystems.

• Extensive experience building production-grade platform infrastructure such as API gateways, MDM systems, or EDR platforms.
• Deep technical expertise in identity systems like OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM, alongside the design of complex policy-driven access control engines.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a proven ability to own mission-critical systems end-to-end within the request-path of high-traffic environments.
