Senior Software Developer

The Service Now Certified Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom applications and solutions within the Service Now platform to meet the business needs of our cybersecurity company. This role requires a blend of programming expertise and a deep understanding of the Service Now platform's capabilities to create efficient, scalable, and effective applications. The Service Now Application Developer has experience with the latest web technologies, and a creative mindset for solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

Key accountabilities:

Application Development:
Design and develop custom applications within Service Now to automate business processes and resolve complex operational challenges. Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions within Service Now. Customization and Integration:
Customize existing Service Now applications and integrate with external systems and APIs to enhance functionality and user experience. Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of developed applications and solutions. Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices. Documentation and Support:
Create comprehensive documentation for developed applications and provide ongoing support and enhancements based on user feedback.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Service Now System Administrator and other IT team members to ensure seamless implementation and operation of Service Now applications. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Minimum Requirements Certification as a Service Now Application Developer Expert knowledge of Service Now platform development capabilities Strong knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework Strong knowledge of Service Now Client & Server API’s General programming skills and understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
