C# Backend Developer – Hedge Fund Up to 95,000 + Bonus Quant Capital is urgently looking for a C# Developer to join our high profile client.

A $1billion strong Hedge fund with performance figures of 13%. They trade a number of products across but mainly FX in both high and low frequency strategies. They have the reputation as one of the best FX funds globally. They use a combination of proprietary data, superior technology, and aggressive execution to achieve their trading objectives.

The firm is seeking to recruit a C# Engineer to join their expanding team in London.

This is an ideal opportunity to get into a hedge fund.

I am looking for a well rounded engineer who can contribute to the success and growth of the firm. The development team works in a collaborative “Can Do” style and employs some of the principles of Agile as it applies to the finance domain. No experience of finance is needed.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on developing new tools and applications as well as improving and supporting the existing environment.

One of the major projects you’ll be working on is porting existing systems to C# and modernising adjacent systems and applications. This would be a great opportunity for a senior developer looking for a role with a large amount of responsibility and the ability to have an input on design and architecture decisions.

One of the second major projects you will be working on is porting legacy VB6 systems to C# and modernising in-house systems and applications, in addition to developing new tools and supporting the existing environment.

C# Software Engineers Must have:

C#, WPF, Prism and ideally VB6 WPF, Prism, Entity Framework, Signal R, Swagger, Moq, MS TestVB6

SQL Server (SSRS)
TFS/GIT Computer Science background
