Job Title: Senior Software Developer
Salary: £72,325 per annum, Band H, Level 3 - Inclusive of OLW & Market Supplement
Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London with Hybrid working option
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing Digital team and help bring software development in-house at Scouts
Key Responsibilities
As our Senior Software Developer, you will:
- Build and improve Scouts' digital systems, including our Membership System and website.
- Develop new digital tools and services for our members and volunteers.
- Take ownership of software from design and development through to ongoing maintenance.
- Work closely with staff and volunteers to understand needs and deliver practical solutions.
- Help keep our systems secure, reliable and easy to maintain.
- Explore new technologies, including AI, and help shape how we develop digital services.
