The Role One of the world’s leading fintech firms is expanding their London headcount and is looking for highly Agile Java Engineers to join their group. They are looking for people of varying seniorities to join their Agile squad and drive best practices such as TDD, BDD, and pair programming. This firm is exceptionally tech-driven and has recently placed $multi-million investment in the build-out of a brand new, greenfield multi-asset trading platform.

You would be working with bleeding-edge tech including the latest version of Java, Kafka, and Kubernetes, as well as being able to be cross-trained in Scala and Kotlin, with everything being built in AWS.Not only this, you could be cross-trained in modern open source technology such as Helm, Grafana, and GraphQL. In terms of salary, this particular client offers unmatched compensation packages and pay above the market standard, providing incredible increases on bonuses annually.

Required skills:

2+ years experience in Java for junior roles, 6+ years’ experience for senior roles

Experience with Agile / XP methodologies including TDD, BDD, Pair Programming etc.

Desirable skills:

Good design and problem-solving skills

Experience working in a public cloud environment with AWS, GCP or Azure No previous finance experience is required
