- Support, maintain, and enhance application hosting and build platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git Hub
- Develop automation and tooling using Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform
- Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices for security, performance, maintainability, and testing
- Contribute to technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain reliable production environments
- Improve observability and monitoring systems
- Respond to proactive and reactive support alerts
- Collaborate across the Technology department
- Mentor and support other engineers
- Build understanding of existing build and deployment architecture
- Deliver new features, fixes, and platform enhancements
- Share knowledge with the team and continue developing skills
- Strong experience solving complex engineering problems across distributed systems
- Exposure to AWS and Kubernetes environments
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Strong coding and automation capabilities
- Understanding of system architecture and end-to-end thinking across platforms and services
- Experience writing well-tested, maintainable, secure, and performant code
- Experience with infrastructure testing, such as Terraform Testing and BDD-style integration tests
- Ability to work effectively in multi-tenant environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Demonstrates strong coding and automation capabilities with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems and maintain reliable production environments while mentoring other engineers.
