• Design and develop scalable cloud services and APIs for Shark Ninja's connected device ecosystem.
• Build IoT connectivity platforms using AWS IoT Core for reliable device-to-cloud communication across millions of connected products.
• Collaborate with mobile, embedded, and hardware teams to deliver end-to-end connected product experiences.
• Work with product management to define and refine product requirements.
• Implement distributed systems using Lambda, Docker, Fargate, and AWS services integrating cloud infrastructure with mobile apps and connected devices.
• Write, execute, and automate tests for reliability, performance, and consumer-ready quality at scale.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance using Cloud Watch for consumer-scale deployment across diverse device ecosystems.
• Work with cross-functional development teams across the software stack, from embedded to mobile.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders on cloud and IoT architecture decisions.
• Partner with QA, mobile, and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration across the stack.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help refine engineering standards and patterns.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Share knowledge and best practices with the broader engineering team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ Years of software engineering experience focused on cloud-native development.
• Strong proficiency with Type Script, Golang, and/or Python.
• Solid experience with AWS services including Lambda, IoT Core, DynamoDB, Cloud Watch, and SNS/SQS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools.
• AWS CDK is preferred.
• Understanding of full-stack system architecture and cloud-to-mobile integration patterns.
• Experience working with cross-functional development teams.
• Knowledge of IoT protocols and device connectivity, including MQTT, HTTP/REST, and Web Sockets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex distributed systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for creating consumer-friendly connected product experiences.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and drive to be part of an A Player engineering team.
• Technical skills:
  Type Script, Python, Go, AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloud Watch, and SNS/SQS, AWS CDK, MQTT, HTTP/REST, Web Sockets, Docker, Git, and AWS Code Pipeline or similar CI/CD tools.
• Nice to have: AWS IoT Core, Kinesis data streaming, message queues, serverless architectures, Docker, connected devices, IoT ecosystems, large-scale device management platforms, BLE, WiFi connectivity protocols, Rust, C/C++, systems programming languages, AI-assisted development workflows, AWS Bedrock, AI-powered development tools, prompt engineering, robotics, consumer electronics, smart home products, open source contributions, mentoring engineers, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, Athena, distributed tracing, Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot.
