Salary: £47,000 - 51,000 per year

• Around 2-3 years experience in AI, automation, software development or a related technology discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Exposure to Azure AI services and the wider Microsoft AI ecosystem.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience developing automation and workflow solutions.
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.

• Build AI assistants, agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI and Power Platform technologies.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and rapidly prototype innovative AI solutions.
• Create Python-based services, integrations and automation scripts to support AI initiatives.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems and applications.
• Apply prompt engineering, orchestration techniques and modern AI best practices.

We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our ambitious digital transformation programme focused on driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across a large and complex higher education environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about AI, automation and emerging technologies. We operate in London with hybrid working and are offering up to £51,000 plus permanent benefits.

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for AI-driven improvements, developing innovative solutions, and helping define how AI is adopted across our organisation. You will work within a newly established AI programme, collaborating closely with stakeholders, internal teams and third-party development teams to deliver practical AI-powered solutions that improve productivity and user experiences.
