Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Build and own the web platforms behind Morgan’s Grocer — from the online storefront customers shop on to the internal systems that keep our stores and deliveries running.

What you’ll work on

• The online grocery storefront and customer web experience
• APIs connecting our web, mobile, store, and delivery systems
• Internal tools for store operations and inventory
• Performance and reliability for high-traffic shopping and checkout

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Develop and maintain the APIs that connect our shopping, store, and delivery systems.
• Make architecture decisions and own features end to end, from spec to production.
• Use AI coding tools to move faster, and help the team adopt them well.
• Review code, mentor where needed, and keep quality high without slowing delivery.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years building production web applications end to end.
• Strong with a modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, or Vue) and Type Script.
• Solid backend experience (Node.js, Python, or PHP/Laravel) and relational databases.
• Comfortable owning ambiguity — turning a rough goal into a shipped feature.
• Fluent with AI dev tools and eager to keep learning new tech.

Nice to have

• Experience with e-commerce, grocery, or high-traffic transactional systems.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
