.NET Core Developer – Hedge Fund

.NET Core Developer – Hedge Fund Quant Capital is urgently looking for a .net core Developer to join our high profile client.

A $1billion strong Hedge fund with performance figures of 13%. They trade a number of products but mainly Equities in both high and low frequency strategies. They have the reputation as one of the best Equity funds globally. They use a combination of proprietary data, superior technology, and aggressive execution to achieve their trading objectives. The firm is seeking to recruit a .net

core Engineer to join their expanding team in London. The role sits within development scrum team that covers front to back office applications. The server side stack is primarily .Net Core and Python with heavy use of open source software. There is a mix of greenfield development work as well as maintaining and improving existing systems.

This is an ideal opportunity to get into a hedge fund. I am looking for a well rounded engineer who can contribute to the success and growth of the firm. The development team works in a collaborative “Can Do” style and employs some of the principles of Agile as it applies to the finance domain. No experience of finance is needed.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on developing new tools and applications as well as improving and supporting the existing environment. C# Software Engineers Must have: • .Net Core development (including Unit Testing, mocking etc)
• SQL Server
• Event Driven Architecture with AMQP messaging bus or other similar tech stack
• Git
• CI/CD pipeline such as Teamcity, Octopus and Nuget
